Ever wonder what types of cars make women swoon? If you answered “sports car” then you would be partially correct. Women like more than just sports cars: they like expensive, fast, powerful cars of all shapes and sizes.

In 2014, Insure.com took a poll to see exactly what cars are likely to attract women. Along with research from other websites, a number of excellent and unique choices of brands and specific models were worthy of your attention.



We think you’ll agree that this list covers the full array of female tastes. So for those of you who might be looking to buy a new car that will attract the opposite sex,  this list will give you plenty of options.

Sometimes a girl just wants to be with a man who drives a rugged, off-road vehicle. So it’s no surprise that the Jeep Wrangler would come in as one of the hottest on our list.

Pick-up trucks are also a sexy ride, according to the Insure.com survey, but the Jeep Wrangler gives a girl a sense that her man has power and is unstoppable – traits they want to find in other sexy things men do to make them feel feminine and wild.
9. Ferrari GTO


There have been several versions of Ferrari’s GTO and, in fact, some of the vintage models are considered the most expensive cars in the world. According to an article in CNN Money, a 1962-63 Ferrari GTO Berlinetta was on auction a couple years ago and wound up selling for $38 million. What woman wouldn’t love that buyer?

Realistically, the least expensive Ferrari GTO comes in at about $200,000 unless you’re buying an older, used model, which will still be pricier than your average auto. Let’s face it, any Ferrari is practically guaranteed to get the interest of quite a few females. You may even get more than a bit of interest, which might be your ultimate goal. Just be sure she’s not only after your wheels.

The all American Dodge Viper is hand-crafted and made in Detroit, Michigan, home of some of our greatest automobiles. This is a car for the confident man who likes to display a little danger and risk with his wheels and his women. Of course, driving a red Viper will most certainly get more than its share of attention from the opposite sex, but any color will do.

Of course, this is another über expensive vehicle that shows, at-a-glance, that the owner is in a very good financial situation. Most women are keenly aware that most Italian sports cars spell money, thus the extra special interest in a man who wields his power by driving any Lamborghini.

Adding a Hummer to this list might surprise you. It’s not the sexiest and sleekest vehicle, but it does exude power and a definitely rugged demeanor. An older Hummer can cost anywhere from $25,000 on up, which makes it very affordable. The newer models will cost upward of $60,000, which is still within a good price range.

In the Insure.com study mentioned earlier, the Porsche was declared one of the top three contenders for cars that attract women to their owners. They are sleek, expensive and sporty. In fact, 11% of the female survey respondents selected the Porsche as their favorite sports car brand and preferred the colors black, silver or red.

The Porsche name has always been on the tip of every sports car lover’s tongue, so it is not surprising that women flock to men who own any of the manufacturer’s models.

The exclusive Maserati is one of the sexiest cars around. In fact, according to an article in Car and Driver, “a revving Maserati engine has a biological effect on women”. Hiscox, a British insurance company, conducted a study which had women listening to engine sounds from a variety of automobiles. The study resulted in some very interesting information.

For all of you female-hungry guys out there, listen up.

The females who were tested showed an increase in testosterone levels in their blood after hearing the sound of the Maserati engine revving, which generally means that their libidos were affected in a very positive way.

Ideally, owning and revving up in one of these cars will get you surrounded by amorous women. However, for those who can’t afford one, you can now download a revving ringtone for certain cell phones.
